Get ready, adventurers! From Saturday, December 14th, 2024, to Thursday, February 15th, 2025, we’re giving you a reason to celebrate the season with a GST/HST tax holiday. For over two months, select products will be tax-free, making it the perfect time to level up your collection, refresh your gear, and dive into new adventures.

Here’s everything you need to know about eligible products:

What’s Included?

  • Board Games for kids, families, and friends—those designed for ages under 14. (Sorry, games labeled for ages 14+ don’t make the cut!)
  • Trading Card Games, from booster packs to singles, spanning all your favorites:

  • Dice, because no RPG night is complete without a little roll of fate.

  • RPG Books, to spark epic stories and keep the campaigns going strong.
  • Select Gunpla model kits, including High Grade and EX-Standard builds—ideal for collectors and hobbyists alike.
  • Card sleeves & TCG supplies, because your cards deserve to look as good as your game plays.

 

2. What About Pre-Orders?
Pre-order products can qualify, but it depends on the timing:

  • Products releasing during the tax holiday are eligible.
  • Products releasing after the tax holiday ends are not.
  • If the release date is unclear or unconfirmed, these items are also considered ineligible.

When an order combines eligible and ineligible pre-orders, our default policy is to hold the entire order until everything is available to ship. If you’d prefer to split the order, an extra $10.95 shipping fee will apply unless the shipment qualifies for free shipping on orders over $165.

3. Why Do I See Tax on Shipping Fees?
Shipping fees are taxable under Canadian law, even during the GST/HST tax holiday. This means orders that include shipping charges will still show tax applied to the shipping portion.
